This is an event that landlords should not miss.
The 7th Annual London Landlords’ Day event is to be held on Saturday, 23 September 2006 at the Brunei Gallery, University of London. Registrations are from 9.00am and the first seminar commences at 9.30am.This non-profit making event is organised by the London Landlord Partnership (LLP), a project group of London councils and University accommodation offices encouraging joint working on private sector housing issues.
LLP’s aim is to help to improve the standard of privately rented housing in London, by working with landlords to improve their management skills and their understanding of legislation and requirements of local authorities.
This year's theme - The Housing Act 2004 - Is it working for you?
Following the introduction of the new Housing Act in April 2006, this year’s event focuses on what Housing Act 2004 means for you in practical terms. It’s here to stay, so how do you make the most of it? What do you need to know? Is it working for you? This affects all landlords, whether new to the business or fully experienced.
London Landlords’ Day is a free event giving landlords the opportunity to learn more about the practical and legal aspects of running a business and to meet and exchange experiences with other landlords.
There will be a number of free seminars given by prominent speakers and many exhibitors offering advice and services.
Children are welcome as long as they are supervised and remain with a parent/guardian - there are no crèche or play facilities available.
Unfortunately, dogs other than Guide Dogs are not permitted at the venue.
